Nvidia GeForce 9500GT manufacturer PNY • 550MHz Core • Memory 512MB DDR2 • 1000MHz Memory • 128 Bits • PCI Express 2.0 x16 • DVI: 2 • TV-Out: HDTV / S-Video Out • YES • 32 Stream Processor versus ATI Radeon 2600 PRO manufacturer MSI • 600MHz Core • Memory 256MB DDR3 • 1400MHz memory • 128 Bits • PCI Express 2.0 x16 • DVI: 2 • TV-Out: HDTV / S-Video Out • YES • 120 Stream Processor Wich would be better and why? I really think its the ATI but with a lower price (50 vs 70 dlls) i suspect from it. Any one got experiences with any of these? The performance is about the same, the 9500GT is just a relabeled 8600GT. Since the 9500GT only has DDR2, in this case the HD2600pro definitely wins. The extra memory doesn't make up for the lack in speed, neither card could handle high resolutions anyway. vouslavous April 4, 2009 2:04:12 AM turboflame is right about the 9500gt being rebranded 8600Gt. unless you can find a 9500Gt with GDDR3 go with the 2600 pro.
