Hi guys,
Just wanted to double check before I order the last of the parts for the system I am getting ready to build... Mostly for playing Lord of the Rings Online, World of Warcraft... maybe some more advanced stuff. Going to use Vista 64 bit home premium. I want to play in 1920x1200 resolution and might mildly overclock at a later date or add a second graphics card later.
Just wondering if these parts will work well together or if something else would be better/more cost effective...

I've already bought at my local Microcenter:
Antec Nine Hundred case
Intel i7 920
Asus P6T motherboard

Here's what I'm looking at in my Newegg cart:
LG DVD burner

WD 640Gb Caviar Black
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6822136319

Corsair 850W PSU (actually $100 with email code now)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6817139009

EVGA 260 core 216 GPU (not sure if 280/285 would be worth the extra $$ atm?)
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814130434

Corsair Dominator DDR3 6Gb Ram
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820145224

Xigmatek XIGMATEK Dark Knight-S1283V
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6835233029

Also some artic silver...unless there's something better

Thanks for all the help everyone!

Sounds good, you may want to use cheaper memory than the Dominator; by and large RAM is RAM is RAM unless you are tweaking the last fraction of a Hz out of performance.

I think the prices for the 260's will go down soon.

Take a look at this MSI 260, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] =msi%20260
Cheaper and faster. ($199.99 after $30.00 Mail-In
Rebate)

And for your Memory check this,

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820231247 Same specs but cheaper. (Free shipping to)

Overall I like yours, very semilar to what I have chosen.
