I was wondering , since the P5QL is a non-SLT board, would the SLI-READY memory be compatible with it? Because it says on the product's specifications that only SLI boards can use this pair of RAM sticks. Is it true?

It might work, but it requires too much voltage. You should get G.Skill PI Black because it works really well with that motherboard.
