hey guys

just need your opinions regarding this PSU.

it's a Point of View Black Diamond 500W

here are its ratings
+3.3V 34A
+5V 40A
+12V1 16A
+12V2 17A
-12V 0.8A

I live in Lebanon so I'm sure most of you have never heard of that brand; there aren't alot of options here and parts tend to be way expensive too (ie.: a Thermaltake W0103RE ToughPower 600W PSU costs $185 USD here, and that's probably not even a tier 3 PSU brand, heh). That Point of View PSU costs $61 USD.

anyway, thanks in advance. :)

Feeling for you man! I would've recommended another brand like CORSAIR or ANTEC, if it weren't for your situation The ratings look good, but what is your mobo, GPU, CPU, etc?

here's my 'primitive' gaming rig:

mobo: Intel DP35DP
CPU: Intel C2D E6750 @ 2.66GHz
RAM: 2gb ddr2-800
HDDs: 500gb + 160gb
DVD writer
current PSU: Enlight 400W

the vga I'm using right now is an ATI Radeon x1550 - my brand new Radeon 3870's sitting in my closet right now; won't open it till I get a new PSU to be honest.

It should be fine, the 3870 has very low power requirements so i'm sure it would work well.
