Wrong core clock !?

My computer is using P4 2.4ghz, but i found that in bios its just 1.2ghz. i never config anything in bios. Also, my ram is different.

P4 2.4g(northwood step:D 1) -> 1.2g
2 X 512 ram DDR PC3200 -> PC2100

motherboard : via P4m266a

how can i solve this problem

Every hear of a sticky? You might want to try reading one at the top of this forum. (or yahoo "speedstep")

"speedstep" is in which category of bios??

No clue, every bios is different. It doesn't effect performance, you might be better off leaving it alone.
