Cheep i7 Gaming Rig - Please Rate

I was asked to help put together a new PC for one of my friends. Here's what I was thinking. (Trying to do it on the cheep)

- Intel Core i7 920

- Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD4

- G.SKILL 3x1GB DDR3 1333MhzCL9 (PC3-10666)

- Sapphire HD4870 512M GDDR5

He's not really in to overclocking so It will have stock cooling and cheaper ram.
I was thinking a build like this would be good cuz all he needs to do down the track is double his ram when needed and eather upgrade or crossfire his GPU.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

A gaming rig on a budget would be much better done with a C2D or C2Q. More info would help; click the link in my sig.

Yah I was looking at them but, I wonted to leave it very upgradeable for him.

If you go the core 2 quad or duo route you wouldn't have to upgrade the GPU for a long time, going with the i7 will necessitate a gpu upgrade soon.

AMD X3 or X4 would offer more upgradability.
