Building a system - No Games, Heavy Multi-App/Multi-Window usage, ( 2D Cad, WP & Video )

Q8200 seems better at that than E7400 I was looking at. Pricing is almost the same at a couple vendors ($ 120)

Wanted to use Gigabyte EP45-UD3 (x) series ,,,...but reviews show that an uncomfortably high number of users have trouble w/ that board after a few weeks (i.e. past RMA date)

ASUS has better rep for cust.svc. and P5Q series seems to have longer term stability. (my budget limit)

Will be using ATI Radeon card, so P43/45 chipset is best

Looking at: P5Q SE PLUS, (&/or "SE" ), or P5QL PRO ... which is better for this ?

Even though e7400 is 2.8 gig, and q8200 is only 2.33 gig ... reviews indicate that the multi-core of the slower q8200 is actually faster - is that your experience ?
