Bad Pool Sector

Hello,
After 6 years of no issues at all, my computer showed me the blue screen of death. It said that I had a bad pool sector. Now, when I try to turn it on, nothing happens. I thought it was the hard drives, so I out them on a USB to my laptop and tested them (looked for bad sectors). They both were fine and I was able to get all of my information off of them. I put them back in my computer and when I turned the computer on, the screen didn't come up at all again. My guess is that my graphics card has gone bad, but i'm not sure. Any input? Thanks.

  1. May be the RAM. Try with one stick, then the other. Can you get into the BIOS?

Thanks anonymous. I tried with one and still nothing. Anymore ideas?
  3. I would be swaping parts... do you have a video card to try? any cards you can remove and test without?
