That PSU/case combo is alright, but you can do much better for the money IMO.

with a 1200 budget for just the case, no OS and no monitor, you can probably squeeze an i7 in. However, since it's primarily for gaming you should be careful not to trade off GPU power for CPU power.

If you go with the Animal's build but use the PSU and that Combo I suggested, you get $1208 after shipping and before $65 MIR. The only thing you would have to upgrade in the next 5 years would be the GPU. That Q9650 is the best Core 2 Quad processor out there, save for the $1000 Core 2 Extreme's. It is blazing fast, about equal to an i7 920 in most tasks. That case is one of my favorites and will last you for your next 5 PC builds. Its super roomy and has awesome cooling. Its also very quiet too.
