Hey Toms guys...
Been to the site for years...but havent posted before.
I have built a new machine (havent built one in many years)
I have the following hardware
Case - Coolermaster HAF 932
Power Supply - Corsair TX650W
Motherboard - Gigabyte EX58-UD4P
Processor - Intel i7 920
Memory - 3 x Corsair XMS3 DDR3
Video - MSI N260GTX
Hard Drive - not sure offhand, but should be able to get video without it
Hard Drive - not sure offhand, but should be able to get video without it
I am having the following problem.
I believe I have it put together correctly, but like I said, its been 6 years since I built one.
I get it all wired up, and turn it on. My monitor light stays yellow, signalling that its not getting a signal from the cable. The fan on the MSI video card is not even turning. I have actually put a neighbors video card in it, for testing, a PCI-E card, the fan turns on it, but the same issue, no monitor output.
I plugged the little speaker into the speaker slot on the motherboard, and I am never ever getting a beep....
So in the end, I am not sure what it is, I really could use your opinions.
Thoughts?
