ATI Readon 3850 was working but now beeps 8 times

OK SO....Upgraded from 9800 xt to 3850. The 3850 was working then the game crashed. Restarted computer and now all i get are 8 beeps "memory error on video card?". Put the 9800 xt back in computer and the computer works. Any ideas?

sounds like the card went bad, you shoud just RMA it
