Pretty generic question. Which one is better?

OC'd 8800gts:
core clock: 800Mhz
shader clock: 1900Mhz
memory clock: 2200Mhz
memory size: 512mb

Sparkle GeForce 9800 GT
core clock: 600Mhz
shader clock: 1500Mhz
memory clock: 1800Mhz
memory size: 1GB

Maybe the answer is actually very obvious and I don't know it, but I want to be sure.

Get a 9800GTX/GTX+/GTS250, it's almost as cheap as both and outperforms both.

8800GTS should be better. The 9800GT is a rehash of the 8800GT 512mb

the 8800GTS is faster, but really its getting old now. As BSoD said, a 9800GTX+ or whatever its called now would be a better deal. that card is about even with the 4850, which is also a great card.
