Hello,
I just purchased the Siemens SX66 phone/pda. I would like to be able to
listen to a radio stream. For whatever reason I am getting a message that
Windos Media Player (version 9.0) does not support it. Ironically, I am able
to listen to the stream radio through Motorola MPX 220.

Hmm, I tried it on my Axim (WM2003 1st edition with windows media 9)
and it played it fine. It connected/buffered for at least a minute
though before playing (even though it's a 16kbps mono stream).
Does it work if you leave it longer ?
I know this page
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmo [...] ericas;142 list the phone as using WM2003 2nd edition, which means you've got
windows media 10 on there. Whether that means the URL is 'detecting'
the version and refusing to play on anything other than version 9, I
don't know.
Maybe somebody with a WM2003 2nd edition PDA can check it ?

Neal,
Thanks for the response. I wonder if it were just easier to download the
WM2003 1st edition onto my PPC and use that one vs the one that I have. Can
that be done?

Dunno if I'd recommend it even if you could do it. Usually people go
the other way, taking a ROM backup when they upgrade. If it all goes
tits-up (rare) then you can restore the old ROM backup.
But AFAIK I've never heard of a pre-installed 2003SE being able to go
the other way, cause you'd have to have the 1st edition ROM avaialble
from the device manufacturer. If they sell it by design using the
2003SE, then I'd expect the answer is no.
