How are you typing it in DOS?

i have had to put spaces into the command string before to get this to work with other motherboards. try placing spaces i the string

    afudos /iNAME.rom /pbnc /n or
    afudos /iNAME.rom/pbnc/n

mess around with the order that is in and it should work.
  2. A better and easier way would be to download from the Asus website , the Asus Update utility, or , install it from you disc which came with the Mobo.
Run it, after you've downloaded the BIOS you want to update your mobo to, point/browse to the directory where you saved it thru the Asus Update and let it do the rest....
Simple, Easy, Fast and very reliable.....And really after updating 100's of Bios I still feel this has been the most reliable one....
Of course I never vouch for the setting in the update utility that says directly from the internet...
