I wasn't totally sure where to post this, but I hope this works.

Here is the deal, what I am looking for. My HTPC is connected to my HDTV, I don't want it running 24x7 so I need a way to suspend and resume it remotely. My remote (Snapstream Firefly) apparently doesn't support this... So I was thinking, is there a way to make the computer suspend when the monitor is turned off, and resume once it's turned back on. This would be the ideal suspend/resume cycle, I just don't know If it's possible.

I Don't know if it matters, but it can be connected either with VGA or DVI/HDMI

Thanks
