Already have:
2 WD 640g drives

DVD drive

How is this for a build? Will it stand up to a couple years of future proofing. My current machine is 6 years old, so really looking to upgrade. Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

Everything there seems perfect. Might want to check the length of the case to the video card but, i dont think it would be a problem. Just would be nice to shove that thing into a full tower for little more room: coolermaster haf or 1200 antec in that matter.

dont forget your arctic silver 5 compound :)

I have a copy of Vista ultimate, but thanks for the idea.
Have 2 - 26" monitors, so thinking the video card will be ok.
