Solution
Its good, but I'd recommend getting (or trialing) 3DMark Vantage, 06 is kind of old. I mean you can still use it, but i recommend trying out Vantage to be more certain.

The benchmark score in 3dvantage was 16,100. The high average was over 17,000 but I think the high scores may be somewhat exagerated by people with nvidea cards leaving physx turned on. Is 16,100 a good benchmark in 3dvantage.

i had same confusion before, wondering why cpu test only get 2-3fps.....but it turns out, 3Dmark06 is kinda old, even using i7 925 only get 6k for cpu score, 2-3fps,...try 3Dmark Vantage...

Thats a good score...to be honest i don't like 3dmark06 a lot to be honest...with my i7 rig + GTX275 i get 18,700 Marks thats both of them stock. CPU score is 5200 and on my old rig Q9300 @ 3.8 i get 5700 cpu score. I have an i7 870 btw i7 940 equivalent. Vantage will test ure pc a lot better...if you want to really test it try the "High" or "Extreme" preset. Default is performance i get P15000 which i thinks normal.
