Hello all and thanks in advance for any assistance,

I am running a phenom II 940BE on an M2N32-sli deluxe mobo and i'm getting hot idle temps. The same thing was going on with my old 5600. My idle is 47-48c according to core temp, and load is 52c. I have good case airflow and stock HSF with arctic 5 silver.

My AC freezer 64pro won't fit my MOBO because of the copper heatsinks--I carefully removed a small portion from 2 fins on the freezer and it fits but won't center when I lock the sucker down, it sits high and left exposing some of the die and sitting a bit off the die as well.

My ambient temperature is around 23c. Another interesting note: I have the cpu clocked at 3.4ghz and the stock speed was reporting no cooler than with the 400mhz OC.

Could I have bogus sensors? Anyone else had any similar problems? And is there anything I can do about the AC freezer?

additional possibly relevant info: case is antec P180, I have SLI'd 260GTX core 216s modestly overclocked, Have 2 120mm intake fans and 2 exhaust (top and rear). PSU is corsair 750watt.
