Looking to replace the stock CPU fan - any recomendations? Ideally something that won't require me to remove the motherboard for a bracket install. Like the Zalmans and others.

MB: Intel D15GAG
CPU: P4 531J@3000Mhz - Socket 775LGA

btw I see the core2duo stock cpu/fan is quiet and low profile - but will it sufficiently cool the P4?

If you are not going for a high overclock, the Arctic Cooler Freezer 7 Pro a pretty good budget cooler that uses pushpins.

thanks jsc. Nope, not interested in over clocking. Are you saying any that use pushpins won't require the MB removal?

The Arctic Cooler Freezer 7 Pro looks HUGE, but this is great - 1.75 sone with stock and .8 sone with the Artic. Too bad their website doesn't list motherboard compatibility like Zalman does. And no LEDs, but hey, can't ask for anything

will do some measurements...

As long as the CPU socket is LGA775 and the fan is compatible with 775's then it should be fine.
