Folks,
I have an Asus AM3A78-CM MB which has 4 RAM slots on it. Two are colored yellow and two black. However, the two yellow slots are A1 and B1 and the blacks are A2 and B2.
I currently have 2 x 1GB DIMMs in the system. Should I load them both into the yellows or both into the A's? Does it matter?
If I were to add 2 more DIMMs should I put matched pairs in the A's/B's or should I put matched pairs in the yellows/blacks?
I did actually read the manual for the MB and it doesn't make any suggestions.
Thanks,
-Wick
