I have a weird set up for my audio, but it was working just fine. Until I had to unplug everthing... now I can't get sound out of the rear speakers, even if I tell the Drivers to use them as front speakers (Which are working fine)

I'll attach a diagram of the set up so it may make more sense...

Recheck all your wires?
Can you plug a rear spker into a front spker jack and hear sound ?if no then spkers bad.
Did the settings in your realtek software change themselves somehow?Check.
How about sound settings in windows contol pannel? All say 5.1..right?
Reinstall realtek drivers may help also.
I hope its not a damaged amp. in the subwoofer.

Sh*t. I hope not either! Because this happened after the switch on my surge protector died in a thunderstorm and I pulled my PC out to check it independently of the protector...

*checks by plugging in rear speaker into front jack*

I hear a TINY amount of sound with my ear right next to the speaker :(
Could be the amp...

FIXED:

Somehow, the volume on the speakers decided to reset itself, and I forgot that there is a volume button on top of the right speaker :/ Just had to turn it up :)

Thanks for the help, though, lumpy
