Hello Everyone,

My current systems runs pentium 4 2.0 Ghz and wish to upgrade it to

* Pentium 4 CPU 3.0 GHz Socket 478 800FSB 1M L2 cache or better, and would also like to use:

* Sapphire HD 3850 AGP (requires better psu and I am not sure how to do that?)

My Current Full system details:

I like games a lot and wish to extend my system's life as much as possible so I can play big games titles like crysis, UT3 and spore.

Will the above work with my system?

First you can't upgrade it to a P4 3.0Ghz CPU because the maximum FSB it supports is 533Mhz.

Don't expect Crysis to run at full settings or high settings, either.

Short answer, no. A) is pointed out above, B) *IF* you can find the video card you'll either be getting used or paying way too much, C) even if an ATX PSU can go in that box that machine is well past end of life. I have thrown out 100+ D325's so far this year for burst caps alone. That machine would make a perfect place to store money you are saving for a better computer because no-one who knows anything about it will touch it.

+1^ to MIRSy. Most new motherboard nowadays don't have AGP anyways.
