Overclocking Xeon X3380

I am using a X3380 on a Intel DX48BT2 with 8 GB DDR3-1333-10600, I would like to know if anyone has done this set-up and what is the best overclock that can be done without making smoke??

Well, just stick with less than 1.45v on the CPU and you'll be fine.

Do you think going with DDR3-1600 RAM will help . right now I have the DDR3-1333 pushed up to 1400Mhz. But I don't think I can push the RAM any higher. Changing the FSB to 350 gets me 3.30 on the CPU but it gets 1400 on the ram , It's stable like this . I just want to know how to get 3.8 safely without cooking the RAM??

Drop the RAM multiplier if you can. If youc ant yes 1600MHZ ran would give you a higher ceiling to OC your proc.
