I keep hearing about satelite 101, What is it? Is it HD.

There are some Hi-Def channels on the main (101) satellite, but most
are on 110 and 119 and you'll need a multi-satellite dish to receive
them. Considering you also need an HD TV and an HD receiver the cost
for the dish is peanuts.

My understanding is there are only 3 or 4 "High-Definition" channels
available on either DISH or Direct TV.
"VOOM" supposedly supports a lot more, but I have no information on
hand, nor experiance with them, regarding what satellite they are
pointed at.
And like Jon said, you need all that other stuff to see "HDTV"

Luckily for me, I already have an HDTV "ready" TV or two.
But I ain't buying VOOM or a receiver/secretdecoderring at this
time.
