i have an x2 4800+ am2
i was thinking of upgradeing to an intell e2220 or an x2 5400+ would the e2220 be faster then my 4800+ and faster then thre 5400+ :cry:

also is it hard to install a motherboard and cpu i mean is there some type of special grounding that you need to install before the board

It's pretty easy to do, i usually install the CPU then the heastsink/fan and then install the motherboard in the case. Make sure the motherboard trays standoffs are in the right place, then screw it down.

I usually wear a grounding strap on my wrist, and remember to install the standoffs!

the board suks it only goes up to the 4800+ it's a dam compaq

Is it a socket 939 motherboard ? or an AM2 ? What's the model number ?
