Accelero Xtreme for 5970

Just picked up the Accelero Extreme for my 5970 and noticed the cooler already has thermal paste applied. Would it benefit if I removed the existing paste and applied Arctic Silver 5 compound? Exactly how much paste needs to be applied? Any feedback would be appreciated.

I think it has Arctic Mx-2 on it already it's not bad stuff in my experiences with it but if you are going to put the Arctic Silver on I would suggest put a bead no bigger than a grain of rice on each gpu contact point spread very thin just like a cpu.

Thanks for your feedback dude. Yep I'll take that into consideration if I decide to apply the arctic silver compound.
