I have a EX58 Extreme Gigaybyte no signal to monitor it boots and beeps but there is no signal at any point


RAM - 1600 Corsair DDR3
Video - GTX275
Running win 7 64 bit



I have tried a different video card a 8800GT still no signal

I have tried a diffferent master hardrive with XP 32bit

Register or log in to remove.

Probably you put the RAM in the wrong slots. Check the MoBo manual to see in what slots you must put it. If this doesn't work then try to insert only a bank of RAM in the primary slot (see manual to know what it is).

Try this, if it's not a RAM problem post again, I will try to help you.

I have tried 1 stick of Ram still no signal

the ram is in 1 3 5

The computer use to work until I updated to biso and after that I could still boot into windows 7 (without seeing the bios) but now there is nothing. Can I reset the bios to defaul any button on this mainboard.

You can clear CMOS values on the back panel here:

Assuming you then get a monitor, enter the BIOS and do a "Load Optimized Defaults"

Did you verify that either card works in another computer..??

Did anything peculiar happen prior to it quitting on you? Perhaps a series of 'start-up reboots', a Windoze update, or a driver install?
