More about freezing computor
  1. Try it with each stick of RAM on its own
  2. thank you sir, but actually I have tryed every pattern with every slot but still blue screens and cpu backs up,let me ask you this, it is normal for instance the cpu's max out while streaming a video and maybe 1 other application,it seems like thers no difference in the performance between 1 gig or 2 gigs while I am streaming, I do notice the difference when I am not online.I'm running XP

I'll help if I can. First though could you please tell us what kind of Chaintech (is it a nF3 150Gb or a 7NJL6 etc. and so forth) aside from it has a Nividia chipset?

In regards to the CPU maxing it is not a big surprise as this is an older system and it takes everything it has to stream the video and run another application.
  5. check your RAM via MEMTEST86+ 4.4 or www.memtest86.com
