Processor: Intell core 2 duo E8400 3.0ghz
Memory: 4gb PNY 800mhz
Power Supply: Rosewill 630watts

  1. The gtx 275 is not released as of yet and there really are not any good reviews comparing them. You will get a lot of fanbois on the forum about the 4890. Seems to be a great card at a good value, but till the gtx 275 is actually released it is hard to decide.
  2. There are reviews of the GTX 275 and generally the 4890 out performs it head to head. Hardocp and Anandtech did reviews with both cards.

    So you don't have to "wait" till it is released to see numbers already.

  3. Yup. If you're going to build now, just get the HD 4890. The GTX 275 was paper-launched, no one actually sells them yet. If you wait long enough to see the GTX 275 in stock.... flip a coin.
  4. 4890 literally = GTX275, but 4890 is more overclockable.
