Hi All,
I newly installed viper 6 GB three slots in rampage ii gene at 2, 4, 6 DIMMS the Mega-tron BIOS shows usable memory as only 4 GB instead of 6 GB. I dont know why it s missing 2 GB's. Please any one help me out.
Thanks in Advance.

Quick steps to diagnose RAM include moving the sticks around, trying them on different slots, making sure the RAM slots are clean, etc. Also, are you sure your motherboard can support a three-stick setup, not limited to only two- or four-stick setups?

Are the sticks on the QVL list as compatible? I have read some people having problems using unqualified memory.
Maybe a stick is bad?
Can you boot with just 1 stick and check the BIOS to make sure it is setting the voltage and timings correctly?
