Im peicing together a new system. I want to buy a high efficiency PSU from the 80plus.org Gold list.
http://www.80plus.org/manu/psu/psu [...] d=0&type=2

The following is a short list of PSUs that I have been looking for:
Thermaltake W0340 TP-700AH3NCG 700watt
Thermaltake W0339 TP-600AH3NCG 600watt
In Win IRP-GOL600 600watt
Enermax EDM650AWT 650watt
Enermax EDM550AWT 550watt
OCZ OCZ-Z1000 1,000watt

The problem is I can't buy these anywhere. If you go to 80plus website. Some of these were certified over 18 months ago so they dont appear to be brand new. Ive contacted Thermaltake and Enermax and they said those models are not available yet with no ETA on availability. Does Toms know of any 80plus Gold PSUs that I can get now?

Any reason why you want to get 80+ PSU? Remember efficiency != quality (such as the In Win PSU as it is a no name brand).

AFAIK there are currently no Gold certified PSUs for sale anywhere.

Get a Corsair HX750 or 850, very good quality and efficiency.

Thanks I saw the silver on NE. Anybody else find it odd that there is a list of 50+ certified gold models that can't be purchased anywhere? I'll have to settle for silver.
