USB not working

Hello,
I cleared my hard drive because of a virus and reinstalled windows XP home edition on my campaq presario sr1720nx and now the USB ports do not work. I assume it is because I don't have the driver. I have searched on line and have been unsuccessfull finding a driver download to install (don't know what I am looking for)can anyone help?
