Acer 5734z specs

hi, the specs on my computer is that it has 320GB of HDD.but that does not seem to be the case because i can only see 287GB.i am running windows 7 starter and the computer model is

Due to formating the drive it will by default have less than 320GB of space. You loose about 6% - 7%. Also it might have a recovery partition which contains the OS, drivers, and other programs.
