I'm semi new to the whole building your own PC scene, so I have some questions about compatibility.

And it's this:

Will http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820231098 be compatible with an Asus M2N-SLi Deluxe mobo?

Part two: I've never upgraded new memory myself and is it just basically hookup and go? Or is there other stuff required before it's all set.

That will work. The only thing to check is your MB manual to see which memory slots to use for dual channel...usually the same color slots (i.e. both yellow or both black slots).
