hi,
i was wondering how you could make the ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 would work with the i7. I've seen brackets from other brands that let the older sockets work with the lga 1366, could any of those work with the Artic Cooling?

Mounting kits are made specific to each of the coolers they are made for. I doubt AF7 has such a kit.

The only exception to the rule: Some X58 motherboards have both socket 775 and socket 1366 mounting holes. In this case the AF7 would work.

Sample board that has both socket mounting holes: Foxconn Bloodrage GTI

Most boards won't advertise that feature. You'd have to look at pictures of the socket area. If you look at the sample I listed, and view the motherboard, you can see two mounting holes on each of the four corners.

If planing to OC at all drop the Freezer Pro. It WILL NOT be able to cool the i7 well.
