Dear Tom's, make me a Sticky...

Please make this a sticky, it'll be a good layout for people wanting to have their build rated or for others to help others... anyone else that has any ideas, let me know and post below, i will edit accordingly...


Please keep in mind that this will include parts that you already have as well, so if you have a copy of an OS or have a monitor, please state what it is and let us know that this is an item that you already have... Also, if you can cpoy a link of the item, please do so, it makes things VERY helpful.

Please list what the build is for, if others are going to help you, it would be very helpful for them to know what the build is going to be used for, please list your spending limit as well.

Operating System:
(23-bit, 64-bit, ETC...)

Monitor:
(Size, widescreen or not and resolution you play any games at)

Motherboard:
(Intel/AMD, socket type, memory support, ETC...)

CPU:
(Dual, Quad, Overclocking? ETC...)

Cooling:
(stock, HS/F or Liquid)

Video Card:
(ATI or Nvidia, will it be used for gaming?)

RAM:
(DDR2 or DDR3, possiblity of overclocking?)

Power Supply:
(SLI/X-Fire?, efficiency?)
(the more demanding the rig, the better PSU you will want)

Media Drvie:
(Note: DVD drive required for Vista installation)
(DVD burner/drive, Blu-Ray, ETC...)

Hard Drive:
(Fast, power saver, RAID? ETC...)

Case:
(Size, temp control, ETC...)

i've seen that before, this is just a simpler layout, this is strictly used for Copy/paste purposes but covers everything so people don't forget to post important information...
