My SLI won't work for Far Cry 2.

It works fine in other apps. Vantage Crysis, etc. Far Cry actually performance significantly worse in SLI. I've uninstalled and reinstalled different version of the newest nvidia driver and the beta 185, the game is up to date. I'm stumped. Is there a preferred profile setting to use or a file I can edit to get my SLI up and running for this game. Has anyone else overcome this same problem with Far Cry 2?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

QX9650 oc 4ghz
2 280 FTW in SLI
XFX 780i mobo
8GB OCZ Platinum
1200W Power PC and Cooling PSU

No one else has had this problem with this title? I read it was quite common. No ones got a fix for it?
