If any of you read my post last week, I'm planning on building an i7 computer within the next week or so (hopefully getting everything on Wednesday but we'll see). I have been looking at cases and am just not sure what to go with. Possibly a Thermaltake V9 http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/PID-MX22323(ME).aspx. Or the Antec Three Hundred http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/PID-MX20934(ME).aspx. Or the Cooler Master Centurion 534 http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/PID-MX12624(ME).aspx. I also have to fit a GTX 260 in there which I just got today, and the thing is MASSIVE compared to the video cards I've seen in the past. Wow.

Also, I've been reading some stuff about OCing with Mobos. I was planning on just getting the cheapest 1366 Mobo I could find, but some people have said that going ultra cheap isn't the best policy, because it can make it harder, or even impossible to OC down the road.

Now, I've been looking at this one. http://www.memoryexpress.com/Products/PID-MX22907(ME).aspx. Cheapest one I can find from that store (CAD). I'm not planning on running SLI or XFire anytime soon, and possibly ever. Will this work for OCing because at some point I will want to give it a shot.

Can't beat the UD3R for the price. Thing is though that is the xfire board, the sli board costs more...so if you want to keep that a viable option you need a different board.

Yea I was thinking about that. Really though, I can't see myself running 2 video cards at once. I mean, if I'm going to purchase a new card, I'd probably just end up getting a new one, although I could probably save money down the road, as the GTX260 will probably be half the price it is now in a year or so.

So ya, I think I'm just going to order everything from Canada Direct. They have free shipping on orders over $300. And all their prices so far are at least $5-$20 less than Memory Express. And although MemExpress DOES price match, I can't find the UD3R there.

Also, I was recommended by some people to get a 650W PSU from Corsair. I was just reading the box on my 260, and it says that the minimum is 550, and the recommended is 630. Should I get something higher? Especially since I'll be running an i7?

Haha well I went with the Corsair one already. I got impatient and figured that would be more than enough. So I probably have way too much now, but I guess this way if 2-3 years from now I want a different video card with higher power ratings I'll be set.

Thanks for all your help again. Your always on top of things man. =)
