I am thinking of purchasing a GTX 260 and most say they require a minimum 500 W power supply with 12V current of 36A. I have a PC Power & Cooling Silencer 500 W that has a 35 A current. Seeing as how this is one of the best 500 W power supplies in the industry, should I be safe with only a -1 A difference or should I not risk it and downgrade to a GTS 250 or HD 4850?

Should be no problem running a single 260 on the Silencer 500.
Member "invisik" runs 2 of them on his Antec EA500
