Hey guys,

19 today, guess what I'm doing :)

Thats right, upgrade time.

So, I'm not new to building PC's nor upgrading them so I'm okay on that front, but I am about to buy some expensive components, so I want to ask some more experianced people out there if the parts I am buying are worth the money and are the compatiable with my current hardware + any recomendations you might have.

I will start with listing my current setup.

Windows 64bit Vista Ultimate
ASUS M2A-VM
AMD 64 5400+
2GB Corsair 800Mhz RAM
250GB HDD (Nothing Special)
Nvidia PNY 9800GT

Thats my PSU

I'm current looking to upgrade to this :-

Same OS
ASUS M3N-HD/HDMI nForce 750a SLI Socket AM2+
AMD Phenom X4 9950 2.6GHz Black Edition Socket AM2+ 125W
4GB Corsair 800Mhz RAM
Same HDD
Same Card
Same PSU

What do you think?

I'm slightly concerned my PSU will not meet the power requirements, and I have read some stuff that the motherboard will not be powerful enough for the processor, but I can't find out why.

I just wanna put my mind at rest before I spend £200($400)

Any help guys?
