How to fix MP3 player computer shows the device but cannot access

I have a mp3 player that I added a few song on it. When I connect mp3 player again I got a message to insert this device how do i fix this problem? I've tried different computers same result. Not able to format
because it not seen as a drive that can be formatted. Is there a way to fix this problem?

Some MP3 players have to be configured to act as storage devices. Depending on the model you have, it could be something you physically do on the MP3 player itself or with an application that you would need to download/install/run on your PC.
