I have a EVGA e-GeForce 7600 GT 256mb card and the fan got noisy the other day. I cleaned it up - it was a little dustyand put it back together - an now it is worse than before!! I am trying to find a replacement fan to see how much they cost, but to no avail. Can some one help a guy out here. Unfortunately I have no warranty as it was given to me by my cousin a while ago and have only been using it for about 2 months, and I have no idea where he got it or how long he had or used it, so that option is out. I love the card as far as performance and can't afford to replace it, so info on a cheap fan or even a freebie from someone with a dead card with a good fan would be great
I have had to deal with a few loud fans that could not be replaced and what I did was to take the sticker off and lubricate the suckers and replace ther sticker, you will need the finest oil you can get, like gun oil or some such,,if that is out of the question then there is always the after market solution,,OTOH,for my 7600 I bought a Vantec IceberQ 6,which exhausts the heat out the back of the case, will also take up two slots
