Motherboard Processor Chip HELP Needed!!

Hi All
I need help choosing a processor chip and mother board which will suit my system.
I've started to upgrade my Dell Dimenion 9150 as its getting a bit dated, the main reason is for gaming ie WoW plus a few FPSs.
I've added new DDR 2 ram so i have 3gb also a xfx ati hd5550 and in the process of getting a new psu 600w
I have around £165 give or take a few quid to spend.
I would like to upgrade to AMD plus X2,X3 core and with the m/board to keep it DDR2 so i can reuse my Ram and any other features which would match in with my gfx card would be a plus.
Prosser and motherboard is where im stuck, im not sure of the difference between. The AMD Phenom X3 ,x4 and the AMD Athlon x3 or quad i can't tell whats best for my system if either??
I would be very greatful for any ideas or suggestions
These r a few offer budles I've looked at .
