Decided to put together are parts list. The parts list contains what, IMO, are the most relevant parts. I tried to choose parts that people will most likely put into their system at each price point. I want to avoid adding too much stuff and bloating the list and losing scope. I'm looking for suggestions and comments to improve the list. Thanks.

I don't think the Q6600 should be on there, its old and hot. The Q9400 is faster, and cooler and only $30 more and should be up there instead I think.

P45 UD3R is the best non-xfire mobo for LGA 775 and should be put up there in the mobo section

Add the HAF 932 to cases

OCZ Fatal1ty 550w is an excellent PSU for $50 at newegg after rebate, it has 50A on the 12v rails and is suitable for 4850's xfired

850tx and 1000hx should be up there in the PSU section for high end rigs

For LGA 1366 coolers, The Scythe Mugen 2 and TRUE should be up there as well, heatsink factory has the TRUE for $70, Mugen for $40.

I think with a little bit of work this could be a very good reference list, stick it in your signature.

I think this is a great idea.

I would remove prices, since they fluctuate so much. Wouldn't want people to select based off the prices you list and not click other parts when who knows what newegg has them at atm.

And kid, what about the fact the mugen is that ugly beige :p

Yeah, the prices might be an issue, depending on how much hassle it becomes I'll remove them. I've got all the part sorted in wish lists so check the prices and updating them once or biweekly or so shouldn't be so much hassle. But if it comes down to it I'll just remove the prices and keep the ordering of prices.

I updated the list to reflect the changes mentioned, I couldn't find the coolers though.

Correction. The UD3R is the 2nd best. UD3P wins #1 for $20 more.

UD3R is the same board as the UD3P just without the extra PCIE slot...read what I wrote..."non-xfire"
