Hey i have an Asus p5nd motherboard and i have not had any issues with it until i got back to school. i am unable to get on the internet when i plug into the on-board ethernet. i have gotten internet to work using a cable and my laptop but not on my desktop with the p5nd. when i plug in i get the two orange lights for linked and 100mb/sec connection. this really confuses me because that would lead me to believe that my hardware is working. any ideas?

Can you not connect to the internet, or is it not connecting to the network itself? What does the network & sharing center say?

Have you tried a different Ethernet cable? Is the router / gateway that you're connecting to been proven to work properly?
