What would probably be the most popular ram today? DDR3 corsair, or is DDR2 still very popular and what brand.

IMO until the DDR3 drop the prices, DDR2 will be the most popular...in brands, i think that the most popular is OCZ, Corsair, G. Skill. I currenly use Crucial Ballistix, isn't the most popular but is really good.

Corsair, GSkill, OCZ, Patriot are all popular choices for RAM. Either DDR3 or DDR2.

DDR2 : G.Skill, Kingston, and OCZ (excluding plats)....

DDR3 : G.Skill, OCZ, Corsair and Mushkin....

Kingston is quite popular and so is Corsair and Crucial. Run a poll and see the results for yourself.
