[Display] Vertical extension

My friend gave me his Dell LCD screen which can be used vertically too. I connected it to my laptop as an extension screen, and it works perfectly when it's horizontal, but vertical setting doesn't work. How can I make Vista realize that the extension screen is vertical? I am not sure if it has something to do with my graphics card.

No matter what the graphics card is, iRotate rotates.
