Hi, so I've got my new machine built up. I have put in 2 graphics cards which take drivers, of course. But my system is not yet installed, so I don't get anything on the monitor. Do I need to install a basic video card so that I can get the system set up and install the drivers for the video cards?

You should have video out. I would try to boot with only one card installed and see if you have video out. If not you have something not connected properly more than likely. Try to reseat all of your components like video, discs, and ram.

Ok, I'll try that, thanks!

I don't think the order will really matter, but I agree and would do this:

1) Install hardware (one graphics card only)
2) Install Windows (Full format, not quick)
3) Install the latest graphics drivers from ATI or NVidia
4) Install the second card
