Quad Core normal temps or too hot

Hi, i just got the Core 2 Quad Q8400 @ 2.66 GHz today and everything went smoothly and still is

 

But one problem i thinkg, my temps are

 

Core 0 37
Core 1 34
Core 2 35
Core 3 37

 

Load in Prime 95 are these

 

Core 0 54
Core 1 49
Core 2 49
Core 3 50

 

Are these too hot and

 

Does my thermal paste need to set in before i get worried??

 

Im not using stock cooler, it kept my last CPU(Pentium Dual Core E2200 @ 2.66) at 25 at idle under 40 at load

 

PLEASE HELP

Those temps are fine. I would start to get a little worried if they went over 70 C, but your temps are well under. Enjoy your new CPU.

whew THANKS bunches

i was getting slightly worried but when i played Crysis without it going over 42 C i think i felt better

Any other thoughts are welcome

those all look like normal CPU temps, your worried over nothing

if they where hitting past mid -60's then your worry meter can be turned on
