got a m/b asrock 4coredual
just wondering the ram slots specify ddr2 667 speed
if i put in ddr2 800 sticks will the 800 modules still run *obviously though at the lower 667 speed*

Depends if the that Ram is compatible with your mobo....

Go to the Asrock website and check the compatibility list.....

shouldn't be an issue, since it will be at a lower than rated speed you should be able to tighten the timings as well
